Halloween Sound Trap does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services.
If you enable the camera trigger in Trap mode, the app uses the camera to detect movement in front of the phone. Frames are compared on the device and discarded immediately. No photo or video is recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
If you enable the shake trigger, the app reads the phone's motion sensors to detect vibration. This data is used only in the moment and is never stored or sent anywhere.
Your preferences (sensitivity, chosen sounds, volume and similar) are stored only on your device so the app can remember them. They never leave the phone.
The app plays sounds through your phone's speaker or a Bluetooth or AirPlay speaker you choose. It does not use the microphone.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
